Slippery slope indeed… who’s intellectual property is it? The man who created it and sold PIECES to Lucas, or Lucas who bought the pieces?
an interesting dilemma one i can see both sides of the issue, as an artist tho, i kinda side with the artist himself, only because Lucas did not outright purchase the rights or the designs from the artist in the beginning, merely asked him for 50 copies of the helmet.
Check out this designer, the jewelery is fantastic, and he has cool sculpture too.
